Our Story

We are accountants and auditors by trade. Like most, we came from the “Big Four”. That environment wasn’t for us. We think they tend to do things the hard way, and we don’t like doing things the hard way. We like to get work done faster and go home earlier. So, we started our own accounting firm. A big improvement, however along the way we found it incredibly difficult to find good software to support our operations at an affordable price. Instead of using poor tools at a high cost, we started building our own… iTickmark is the result.

How We Do Business

We find these things a painful waste of time:

• Software that constantly requires “upgrades”.
• Software that requires ANY training.
• Companies who think tens of thousands of dollars is “affordable”.
• Software that is ugly (you have to look at it all day after all).
• Software with too many “features”.
• Endless use of acronyms that just make understanding software harder.
• “Account managers/executives” that don’t actually do anything.

Instead, we make simple, beautiful software for human being accountants that gives you exactly what you need and nothing you don’t… software that gets out of your way. We sell this software on a “use what you need” basis with no long term contracts, data lock-in, or hidden fees, ever.

The Team that Makes it Happen

We are a small team and we like it that way. We have two small offices, one in Denver, Colorado and one in New York City. Our team includes Shannon, Britney, and Ben in Denver; Erin in New York City; Grant in Palo Alto; Yvonne in Beijing; Gleb and Nail in Kazan, Russia; and Dan Zitting splitting time between Denver and NYC.
